at watts construction we pride ourselves in delivering each project to exceptional standards, on time and on budget.

the majority of our work comes to us through recommendation and word of mouth. we always welcome potential customers to visit recent projects and meet previous clients.

the company is directed by Roger and Martin Watts. one of us will be your first point of contact from the moment of your initial enquiry and will continue to manage your project all the way through to completion.

before we start your project you will receive a works programme so you can see exactly what is going to happen and when. the programme will also show you when you need to have chosen things like your paint colours by.

as well as the programme you will receive a breakdown of our estimate so you can see costs associated with each item of work. every fortnight or each month we will invoice you for the percentage of works that have been completed to date. we never ask for money upfront so you are only ever paying for works that have been physically completed.

we also give you the option of entering into a formal homeowners building contract which can facilitate an agreed retention on the whole project for example 5% which is held back from each invoice until all works are agreed as fully complete. 2.5% is then held for a period of time after that, so once you have settled in and no defects have arisen you can settle the final amount in the knowledge that all has been thoroughly attended to.
each project has a working foreman who is responsible for the day to day care and management of the site.

spread across our various sites we employ a full time team of 15 skilled tradesman, consisting of site foreman, bricklayers, labourers, carpenters and groundworkers. we consistently use the same specialists such as our plumbers, electricians, roofers and decorators who have been carefully selected for their ability to meet our high standards of reliability and finish.

you will see from our gallery of projects that we complete many types of construction including listed buildings, renovation, commercial property, new houses, churches, schools, domestic extensions and refurbishments. we can take a project from the very start all the way through to the decorations and floor finishes leaving it ready for you to move straight in.

often we work alongside our clients appointed architects but also manage many projects for clients directly.
